Thanks for the confirmation!
I'm kind a bummed out here. I ordered 10 girls and two turn out to be males. I can't keep two roosters thats for sure, they would fight over the girls and make a mess of them. At what age do the boys stop getting along? I would love to see them grow for as long as possible before one needs to be re-homed. This is a learning experience after all.
Thanks for any advice you all may have.
If raised together they should get along forever, some dont but most will. There just doesnt seem like enough hens to go around. I guess you have a couple options keep them both and get more hens or get rid of at least one and wont have to get more hens or keep them seperate from the hens and you can keep them both.
It's a boy! I have a Gold-laced Wyandotte "pullet" that looks just like yours at 6 weeks. I'm also disappointed as I really wanted him to be a her and I already have two other Roos (one I ordered and 1 Silky that was a 50/50 chance).
