Pullets. Barred Plymouth Rocks are nearly sex links. The dots on head when young if centric and dark wash on leg color is pullet. If dot is blotchy and legs are all yellow and big then cockerel. By using all the clues and not relying on just one you'll be near 100% accurate in sexing Barred Rocks at hatch.

100% hens. It's as clear as day once they start feathering out if you've got roos or pullets. Roos have a lot more white in their feathers while pullets are mostly black.
