Boys VS Girls

No wonder you have so many chickens!!! Didn't know you were afraid of spiders. Guess life in alaska slows a few down, anyway!

Your right about the huge adjustment Kevin5! I have a friend who moved to Waco. Been through a few times.

You two didn't know you both live/lived in TX?? OK. Glad Kansans are welcome.

I have two sister danes who's birthdays are actually today. I have a ferret named Tony. I have a New Zealand Buck. A few ducks and geese and a guinea. I used to breed fish.

Cool! A pair of great danes....You'll never need crutches! One guinea? Well, it can't be near as loud as a bunch. My moms about drove me nuts!! Cackle/laugh sounds all the time. Good grief! I have ducks too. Whats yours?

Cochin - whats your flock?

I have a littlish flock - just enough to sell duck eggs to the local chinese market and feed the old man, er excuse me, DH.

Yes Danes are so affectionate! They are probably my favorite breed. I had others but they all decided to kill my goose

so they had to go. I have mallards, calls, a black runner, and a pekin mix.

I understand. Fowl friends are a funny breed. But hey, I find my birds and dogs more dependable than most people!

I love Peking ducks, very sweet and good layers of Large eggs! My Khakis only lay hen sized eggs. (more work for hubby to crack more you see).

Do you have an incubator Cochin? Maybe I SHOULD send you some quail eggs!! I can even tell you how to make an incubaor for under $6, if you've got a light that works! Then you won't have time to be loonely! They are readt to eat (if thus inclined) at 6 weeks, and hens lay at 7!
