My dog Pebbles hates cats, and people much. She chased the bobcat once. I can't let her in the back yard because I don't want to risk her getting worms (from drinking nasty water puddling up in this rainy weather) I don't like to be mean, but we live in a VERY close neighborhood, with little 2 year olds living next to us. We've tried shooting at it probably 10 times and the gun will be off, or the bobcat is too quick. Our neighbors also have cows, they shoot those coyotes, and loose dogs, but Coyotes prey on young bobcats, I haven't heard any coyotes this year, and I've been hearing lots more gunshots lately...., then I see the bobcat run by....

its also cruel for people to release wild animals raised domestically. If they let you get close, they aren't afraid, and there is a reason for that.

Whats greator, the cruelty inficted by natural law, or the crueltry infliced by realeasing an animal ill equiped for life in the wild? The cat will be forced to get shot by somebody for coming too close and eating domestics, and maybe too suffer a slow death.

This is a bad situation the whole way round it. Keep your animals tight, and put wire on top of open fence, and around the base of any outbuildings they can get under.

Get a good big dog.
