I have acoop that is made of all metal. It has three 2'x2' windows that I can shut up when it's cold. I just bought these R.I. Reds(14) and a Bar Rock rooster. I have two questions. The coop is pretty dark inside, does this affect the egg production? And he second question is; has anyone bred these before, if so what did they look like? I feel it will produce a big good looking chicken. Let me know what yawl think. Thanks

I think lack of light does effect egg production, but I'm not positive so don't hold me to it.
