If the cage is 14 x 14 or larger, it will hold a trio
IF the cage is smaller, only a pair

Either will be cool if you want fertile eggs. If you only want pretty eggs, and no babies, then just get hens. When Its high summer there, I can send you a dozen eggs for you to hatch, if you've made an incubator. (Simple is ok)

Aquariums are also good, btw. Esp ones with cracks, but not really broken. They are good for pairs in the 10 gal. size. larger size, more birds.

any cages with 1/4 inch mesh on bottem for small quail are ok - bird, chicken, whatever.

LOL thanks, ill ask my mom if we can have a half outside half inside pair/trio of qaiuls, all i want is a pet, i dont care bout fertile eggs.

Quail. Females are friendlier, so try to get those then. If you like pretty eggs, they'll be ideal. Cut little spotted eggs, and they are often used as art.



I have little hands,the size of my 12 year olds, so imagine how small she is!!

OMG!! Sooo cute!! I dont care if i have a hen and (Im just gonna call it rooster) rooster. As long as i have 1 hen, i tend to focus my love on 1 or 2 chickens so i figure the quails would be the same.

They make the tiniest bantem seem large! Buttons are SOOO TINY! Much smaller than this little one. Its a baby Jumbo Corturnix (about the biggest quail) Parents weight 9-12 ozs, if your lucky. Buttons are like 2 ozs!
