When we move I will build a new coop and start my new flock. Hopefully less than 6 months

Looking at some silkies. I love how they look.

I love silkies! They are so sweet and friendly.

Oh and I would like a nice bird to bring to the fair. So they would have to come from a good breeder

They are modest layors, mostly kept for natural setters as they have great sitting patience, and are excelllent mothers. They even sit duck eggs.

Buff Orphs are fab layors, and very personable. Wonderfull egg and meat bird choice. Nice layors and attractive and gentle.

Ameraucanas have nice blue/green eggs, but not as big or often as buff orps.

Rir are a big high storng for me, but then they aren't as bad as leghorns. More prown to feather picking iMO
