Any ideas on what gender these 2 barred rocks are? First 2 pic's
are of one from the farm store. Second 2 pic's are of one I hatched a week ago. Thanks in advance to all who respond!

Dark chick is female. Silvery chick is male. The male has much more defined even bars on the wings.

Didn't the poster say 2 BR? One from the feed store and one from eggs they hatched? The first 2 pics are 1st bird and the second 2 pics are the 2nd bird. Did I read this wrong? How old are they?

Yes Chickenlady you are right. The first one from the feed store, I'm not sure how old? The 2nd is a week old. I'm guessing the one from the feed store is a couple weeks old.
