BR or BSL packing peanut. Possibly a pullet? *wishful thinking *

This is either 2 BR's and a bantam cochin, or 2 BSL's and a bantam cochin. Obviously if they're BSL's, they're both cockerels

I got 14 of the barred babies as packing peanuts. 13 of them are growing and feathering out very quickly. One is about half the size of the others - the same size as the bantam cochins. Its comb is smaller than the others, but its head seems about the same size. Its body is just small! I don't remember one being smaller from the beginning, though, so it just isn't growing as fast.

I took it out of the brooder with the other BR's and put it with the cochins, so I can keep a closer eye on it. The BR's are where I can't get as attached to them cuz they can't stay at our house. The small baby seems active, and is eating and drinking well.

What do you think? Female? Male, just smaller than the others?

I think it is a roo also. Just curious where did you get them from? I just ordered some chicks for the 1st time and am hoping for at least a few packing peanuts.

2 on the left look like roos. The one to the right of the computer is a pullet.

The cochin in the first pic is definitely a pullet, we'd decided that already.

Here's another of the small BR baby between a black bantam cochin cockerel and a blue bantam pullet. They're all 3.5 weeks old.

They came from Ideal.
