I can't tell what kind of comb it has by the pic. Dominiques have rose combs and barred Rocks have single combs.

it is a rose comb.. i knew that was one way to tell.. but didnt know if that was enough by its self,..

Sadly yes, just the comb type says the two apart when it comes to hatchery birds.
