BR Pullet Limping

A few days ago, I realized one of our four BR pullets had a cut on the middle toe on her right foot. Every day since, she's been limping more and more. When she's outdoors, she often just lies down. Other than that, I'm pretty sure she's been acting fine. I did notice that her middle toes on both feet turn in a little, but I'm guessing that it's always been that way.

Is she alright? Does she have a broken toe?

You need to put her in a pen, clean the wound, put some antibiotic ointment on it, and keep her confined and off the ground til the foot heals. She'll survive a broken toe much better than she will infection from the cut.

How confined? A corner of the coop? Should I put someone in with her to keep her company?

Are you sure it's an infection?
