BR, pullet or cockerel?

I know what I want it to be, but I am afraid I also know what it is....

I got this one as a day old and am pretty attached. It comes to me and lets me pet and hold it. It will be 7 weeks old on Monday.

I'm new, so it's more of a guess. I was told if it looks white with black stripes, roo. If it's black with white stripes, pullet.

Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can help you.

Kfox had it right...pullets will be much darker. All of mine are.

That is totally a cockerel. Beautiful though! I have never heard of some one moving just so they could keep a chicken

( I would probably want to if I were you! )

He's beautiful. I have one like that, when I go out in the run he runs over and jumps on my feet. I pray he doesn't end up mean, it will break my heart.
