BR pullet or roo?

Here's an article with some good photos. Barred and cuckoo patterned birds are auto sexing. Some strains are easier to sex than others.

Females: tight head spot. Males, more spread out, larger, diffuse head spot.

Females, very dark wash on front of legs and top of toes. Males much less dark coloring. Female beak is likely to be darker than the male.

Females. More black than white in the striping. Males, more white than black. When looking at the 2 from a distance, the female looks much darker.

I can’t tell from the head spot, most because my BR had the opposite head spot. But, like @drumstick diva said, girls look darker with thin white bars, and boys like lighter with thick white.

Thank you all! Guess time will tell for sure. I was leaning pullet due to feet and coloring but the head spot and her statue threw me off. I think she will be a leader.

Pullet... wow, i have never owned a chicken and just from being on BYC so long the second i saw that chick i said pullet. and i didn't even know any of those chicks!
