BR pullet or roo?

Here's an article with some good photos. Barred and cuckoo patterned birds are auto sexing. Some strains are easier to sex than others.

Females: tight head spot. Males, more spread out, larger, diffuse head spot.

Females, very dark wash on front of legs and top of toes. Males much less dark coloring. Female beak is likely to be darker than the male.

Females. More black than white in the striping. Males, more white than black. When looking at the 2 from a distance, the female looks much darker.
