My husband and I keep going back and forth on weither or not this is a hen or a cockeral. I've posted a picture of him/her when s/he was younger amd everyone agreed cockeral. Now as shes grown to 20 weeks I'm not so sure. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

That's a very light pullet. She won't be a hen for another 32 weeks.

you sure it was a crow and not her practicing the egg song? or an alarm call? Some hens will crow, but a pullet crowing? Nigh on impossible.

Hmmm...now I'm not so sure. I'm a 1st time chicken owner, I'm still learning. I assumed the noise I've heard was a crow as it was much louder than what I've previously heard from the others. Shes also VERY bossy and pecks the smaller hens away from the food. That's another reason why I thought she was a cockeral. The dominate personality.

With that comb at 20 weeks I'd say it won't be long. Depending on your coop she may have already layed one hidden away somewhere
