Brabanter=Appenzeller?

Are these two breeds the same, or do they have different origins? I've heard them referred to as Dutch or Swiss, and some sites use the names interchangeably. Thanks!

Thanks. I had seen those sites. My confusion came from a "breeder's" website. It described the Brabanters, and said they were also called Appenzellers. Perhaps I won't purchase from that "breeder"!

Brabanters are from Belgium. (Very Rare)
Appenzellers are from Switzerland.

I just got some young birds of each yesterday.

I second that motion! Smart thing to pass it up when breeders use it interchangeably or mixed them up.
