Pretty exciting I must say
I put Brabanter eggs under by broody Cochin and let her be. Since yesterday we have peeps. Only one as of late yesterday eveing so the new one is an early riser from today maybe. Still two eggs in the nest but I don't think they will be good but mom is eating and seems fine so I will leave her be for now and finish on the the nursery pen for them. All the peep noise is getting the other hens in a dither. The hen came out side and mingled with the other hens, ate and drank a fair amount and then went back in to sit.
