Braggs Mountain Buff

What can you guys tell me about Braggs Mountain Buff chickens??? A lady that works with my SIL gave him some eggs for us to hatch....they are jumbo eggs. I hope they hatch.....she told him her roo is about 20 lbs. Thanks for any info.

Has anyone here had these birds at their table? I don't believe the roos get to be 20 pounds, how big were yours? I'd like to try something other than Cornish Xs for meat, these big birds have me curious...

Braggs Mountain Buffs really impressed me. they are slow to mature and don't start laying until maybe 8 months old but the egg size is amazing. Anyone in the Ft Worth area want to split an order? I don't want 25 but would like half and order.

Has anyone tried these and have any updates? Eggs really as big as advertised? Maybe it's just alot of hype. It just sounds too good to be true.

I have 11 Braggs Mt Buffs they are not 9 months old yet eggs weigh out to large but don,t look it. The birds are very large and good looking I am waiting acouple of months to form an opinion . Also big investment lost several birds and was not impressed with responce from shipper.
