I have a 12wk Braham rooster, he starting to bite and when he bites he grabs a hold of my skin and hold on. He is normally sweat and lets you pet him. His dad was really mellow. Why is he biting now?

He was backyard born and raised land has plenty of room in my backyard

When cockerels reach a certain age some start to become agressive. This is common when they are babied because they can lose their fear of people and start to see them as friends but for many it is genetic agression and can't be prevented. I have a lot of roosters with the genetic agression.

I'm guilty of babying, I'm hopping as he gets older he's like his dad
