Brahma chick has less feathers than the others?

I have a 6 week old braham named billy and 3 other 2 week old brahamas... billy is older and larger, eats like a pig and drinks plenty of water. Hes fat and active but his wing feathers are still very small and has very few on his legs and feet and none on his tail??? The 2 week olds have much lager and more feathers everywhere!!!! These are my first chickens and ive already had three to die!! Is there somthing wrong?

Cockerels will be much slower to feather than pullets. They will look rough a lot longer too. I am sure he is fine. Can you post a pic for us to see?

Try not to worry too much. If Billy is a male, this is very common..slow to feather.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! X2 what TwoCrows said, cockerels often feather in slower, and Brahmas are a big slow maturing breed anyhow.

The first picture is billy you can see his feathers are much smallers and seem loose? The second one is billy beside one of the younder chicks you can tell he is much bigger. and the last is a pic of the wings of one of the younger chicks all three of them look that way? But not billy :/

He probably is a cockerel but even if not, chickens don't all develop into exact clones. They will not have carbon copy personalities either.
