I hatched these Brahma chicks from shipped eggs. 7/8 were fertile and all 7 hatched. Now that they’re starting to get some of their feathers I’m beginning to wonder what they will look like when they grow up and become adults. The lady that I bought the eggs from said she has Lavender, blue, black, mottled and splash Brahmas. So do any of you guys know what colour they will be or could be. Many thanks

I see plenty of black feathers, and a few white bits.

No lavender (lavenders would not have black feathers.)
No splash (lavenders would not have so many black feathers.)

Maybe blue (dark blue can look a lot like black.)

Definitely black and/or mottled (either can have some white and some black at this age, but by the time they grow up you should be able to easily tell whether they are black or mottled.)

Awesome, thanks for your reply. I look forward to seeing what they look like when full grown. I already have a black Brahma hen and she is a beautiful bird!!
