Brahma Cochin?

I don’t think this is a splash, more likely a highly melanised paint, possibly with some sort of mottling gene. You can tell by the large patches of black rather than random dashes.

Edit: if they hatched blue it might just be an odd mottling example.

That’s so cool. I’m going to tag @MysteryChicken and @NatJ and see what they think about it.
I will get some better pics of her today. She’s really different as far as personality goes also. She loves to follow you around and kind of a loner. Shes not just your regular chicken. You talk to her and she looks at you like she’s actually paying attention. Lol! She was getting picked on the other day so she has a special home inside away from the cold!

Yup that definitely makes sense too. We had a rooster that was mottled and hatched some from him. Not this one specificity but A rooster or two still here that has his genetics. Our white Cochins are white dominant that makes sense also. Our mottled chicks that were hatched also had the speckled head like this one at that age.

I don't really know.

The mottlng gene does cause a chicken to get more white as they get older, which would perfectly explain why she started almost all blue and ended up white. But the in-between photos do not look quite right, because of the way mottling usually shows on the feathers (white tip first, and I would expect quite a bit of white in the wing primaries). Also, having her completely white at 9 months old is much faster than I would expect if the mottling gene was responsible.

There are several alleles of the mottling gene (several different forms, that are all the "same" in their inheritance and general results, but not identical: slightly different mutations). I suppose there could be one that causes the effect that chicken has, but I really do not know for sure.

Regarding the title, why does it say Brahma Cochin? Based on the pictures I would think she is just a Cochin with no Brahma involved.
I can definitely edit that. At one point in her changing colors she almost had Brahma markings. This had me so confused I overthought and our light Brahma came to mind 🫣

Here's one of my Chameleon hens.
