Brahma or Delaware?

Well since MPC doesn't have Columbian Rocks, and they do have Columbian Wyandottes we all assumed that she is a straight combed Columbian Wyandotte.

EXACTLY why everyone is saying Wyandotte. BODY SHAPE means alot more than comb. You can change a comb in one cross.

Because the OP stated that she was ordered from MPC, and of the large fowl breeds they only offer 4 that carry that particular color pattern...columbian wyandotte, light brahma, delaware, and silver lakenvelder. She's obviously not a brahma or lakenvleder, so that only leaves the wyandotte and delaware. And she looks much more like a wyandotte than a delaware. And single combed wyandottes are fairly common in hatchery stock. In fact, my SLW from MPC is single combed yet no one has doubted me when I tell them that she's a wyandotte with a single comb.

She is very pretty though. Makes me wish we had gone for the columbian instead of the silver laced when we were placing our order. I've always thought the columbian pattern was very striking. Not as flashy as lacing or mottling, but it just has that special something to it. Especially white based columbian.
