So I got these from my Uncle's feed store back in June, totally thought he only gets pullets. Oh well I do think I have a Roo.

#1: I'm pretty sure this is a pullet.

#2: Here is the Brother. The face went redder faster then any other chicks (got BO's same age), black in tail has the green shine to it & the saddle area really looks like saddle feathers. His sister is still fluffy in that area.

3wks ago we had 2 young Roosters show up outside our fence so we rescued them. Was going to keep one but they are wild & crazy. So if this is a Roo I might as well keep one that is tame & use to being handled.

Wow. Those are some REALLY nice looking light Brahmas. And, yes, they are a pair. That's got to be some of the nicest leg feathering I've seen on Brahmas.

I go back to my Uncle's feed store cause I get good birds from there. He said he orders his chicks from this place: http://www.privetthatchery.com/Home/Default.aspx My first hens looked very nice. I kept my favorites, my SLW looks almost show quality. Its nice to know these new Light Brahmas are just as nice. These have been handled alot more then my first flock so they are so nice to catch in the middle of the yard. I will have to build a breeding coop for them.
