Brahmans and baby chicks

Hey all! I bought two four month old Brahman hens yesterday and I have ten five week old chicks... Buffs, Marans and Ameracaunas. Can I put them in with my Brahman hens? Someone said I could because the hens are so docile. What do you all think?!? Thanks!

Any breed of chicken can be mean even if they are said to be docile and friendly, I have met nice ones but some are just plain mean. Your new brahma hens are too young to care for the chicks, you should only put the chicks under broody hens or else you could risk having them pecked and killed. And I also think that the chicks are too old for a broody hen, anyways good luck on your chicks.
