We have newly hatched babies...one is completely out of its shell. It is still damp so in the incubator. It was moving around a ton but now is kind of just squatting there. Is it safe to put a tiny dish (like a jar lid) of water in there? Or should I just move it to the brooder? I am worried it will get dehydrated. There are 6 eggs. No mama, they were eaten by coyotes back in the end of FEB we rescued these right away. One is out completely, one has a whole and is sticking its beak out...but hasn't figured out how to get out yet. 4 others are trying...cracks but no holes in shells. They are at least a day younger. One egg isn't doing anything yet. HELP! I have NEVER did this before. We always buy our babies at a week old!
Is there a "how to" section?

Thanks!
