Brand new egg layer question

I have 5 little ladies who just started laying a few weeks ago. One of which (not exactly sure who) is laying some “tie dye” eggs with the color being darker at one end and much lighter on the other end, and this morning, I noticed lots of little scratches all over the shell. Has anyone ever seen this? I can’t imagine I’m the first one whose seen this. What could be causing it? And should I be concerned?

Likely when the paint was still wet another chicken went in and started shuffling things around to get comfortable. If you grab a super fresh egg you'll notice it is kind of wet. Its really easy to scratch up in that stage.

Weird! I have had multicolor eggs before and some scratching on the eggs, my guess is they used their beaks to move the eggs around and it scratched it?
