Greetings! Long time lurker, first time posting! I just purchased a small homestead in Washington County, NY and my spouse & I are working on getting this farm up and running.

I've had chickens in the past when I lived in Arizona so I'm starting all over again with different variables but looking forward to it!

If anyone has recommendations for places to purchase laying hens or pullets locally, I'd love to be pointed in the right direction. I'd rather not raise chicks if I can help it and I am loathe to put chickens through the mail again :\
