Im happpy to be a part of backyard chickens.I have always been able to find the answers to almost any question I have about chickens on this site. I am not new to chickens,but we havent had any in years. My mother turned 80 years old this past March and she asked for some chickens. We now have 23 wonderful pets.And we have an assortment of everything. Americanas ,black australorp,columbian rocks,silver and gold laced wyandottes,lavender orps,some barnyard mix and two mystery chickens lol. I am 49 and and avid hunter and fisherman. My favorite fish are the striped bass and hybrid stripers. I mainly fish in NE Tennessee on Cherokee lake. But my new favorite pastime is our flock.
