You probably know this but in case you don't, the chicks can hatch early or late. I've had them hatch on day 20 and 22. Some have had a few sooner or later than that.

I do 5-day lockdowns as opposed to the traditional 3-day lockdowns as a couple of times I've had a couple pipping on Day 18. (Silkies).

In case anyone worries about the lack of rotating, the last week isn't as necessary as the first two weeks are, as by that time they're larger, more mobile, and won't get stuck to the side of the egg.
