Brand of feed

My chicks are 4 weeks old..they are on starter feed...I know I’ll have to introduce grower feed soon. Wanted to know if there are favorite brands of food out there. I’ve read about so many...I’m overwhelmed. I have my chicks for pets...and eggs. I would like to stay as organic as possible!

I’m using Purina medicated starter feed right now...I’ve heard “scratch and peck” I think it’s called is good..but I’m open for suggestions. I may end up ordering online. I live on Long Island...not too many stores near me carry any. I appreciate any feed back!

I personally don't think the Scratch and Peck brand is a good choice.
You have to be very careful about choosing a fee that is made out of whole grains because the chicken has a choice... A choice to pick out only certain grains to eat.
which can cause them to not get a complete balanced diet.
I highly recommend that you choose a crumble or pellet feed.
