Spencer grinned and followed Vesta, looking around the areaThe morning air, still damp, flooded their lungs. Vesta smiled. It tasted like freedom, "Come on, let's get out of here." She ran outside.
Spencer looked at her "No, I am surprised no one has tried to stop us yet" He said looking around againThe street was quiet, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It was even peaceful, a stark contrast to the chaos inside. Vesta stared at the robin's-egg sky and moved down the street. She turned to Spencer, her head cocked at an angle, "Are you above hitchhiking?"
Spencer nodded and started walking "Let's see how far we can get"Vesta paused. "Yeah…That might be a problem. Maybe we should get moving."
Spencer smiled "Did you see any backpacks there?"Vesta nodded, "Too bad we didn't have backpacks or something. Too late to go back now." She started to walk down the road.
Spencer frowned for a moment, thinking "How come we can remember stuff like this, but not where we came from?" He shook his headVesta shrugged, "I didn't look. But makeshift bags are always an option."
