Reba looked to him curiously, but followedJoshua looked around in the basement. It seemed normal.
Wait.
There it was. A little door, made into the wall. "Come on."
(The others can't see the door.)
Reba shook her head, watching where he touched the wall.Joshua walked to the door. He traced the edge of the door, "You guys can't see it, can you?"
Reba handed him the notebook, watching curiouslyJoshua nodded. "I thought so." he said quietly. There, on the edge. He felt around in his pockets. Nope. He turned, frustrated and saw Reba's notebook. He grinned, "Can I see that for a moment?"
Reba accepted the notebook back, holding it close as the panel opened. She looked around then wrote Light? He grabbed a small tool kit nearby him and took out a pair of wire cutters . He snipped off one of the rings and peeled off the rubber coating. He handed the notebook back to Reba. He straightened the wire and stuck it in the tiny slit in the door, wiggled it around a bit, and heard the lock click. He grinned in triumph as the panel slid into the wall. "I give you the hidden chamber."
Reba blinked quickly, then moved into the room, towards the screens. She ignored the chairs and equipment, studying the information quickly and writing quick notes in her notebookHe flipped a switch, then stared in horror, "Oh." The room was spotless white. All white. There were rows of chairs, like dentist chairs. And screens with information about all the orphans. And metal tables with strange equipment.
