You woke up one morning at an orphanage with a blank memory and a crescent-moon-shaped brand on your left wrist. They say you've been here your entire life, but it seems wrong. You don't belong here. And strange things have been happening, especially when you get angry. Things like the fireplace blazing suddenly to life when it was dying coals a moment ago, or the sink's faucet blowing off from the small geyser coming from the pipes. You can only guess that it's the brand that you and all the other orphans carry. There's something wrong here, and you're going to find out.
Here's how it works:
1. You can control an element. ONE element. Be creative. I'm including senses in the elements, which is a lot cooler than it probably sounds. If, for instance, your character controls hearing. He/she could make someone hear things. Bwa-ha-ha-ha!
2. Don't copy an element unless absolutely necessary. I'm not limiting characters, so it is bound to happen eventually. So unless you've come up with one that's really original, accept this.
3. If you do come up with a really fantastic element that you just want for your character, PM me. I'll see what I can do. Keep in mind that only so many can be reserved.
4. There are no limits to how many characters you can have, but you do have to play them. I will not tolerate people just making up random characters all the time and then letting them drift around in limbo.
5. No swearing beyond %$#@! Because profanity %$#@s!
6. No actual fighting in the RP; it's petty. Do it through PMs.
7. All BYC rules apply.
8. Everyone will suffer. Some will die. I will spare your favorite, guaranteed. If you can't deal with that, make one character or don't join at all. I have a character of mine that I'm going to kill.
9. This is my thread. I'm in charge.
10. No perfect characters and no controlling other people's characters.
11. Be realistic.
12. Be creative and try to do more than just one-liners. I know sometimes you just can't think of anything, but just try.
13. Keep it PG-PG13.
