Our dog is getting up there in age but recently he has been going on the couches even though we have never allowed him to do that. He thinks that if he moves real slow off them or covers his face that we can't see him. Today I caught him on the couch and he slinked off to his bed and did this:

400

He really knows how to work us! I have a difficult time scolded him when he is that cute!

Yeah he constantly amazes me with how smart he is!

(Not sure why this thread posted so many times. Sorry moderators!)

Love him

It is quite common for older dogs to start pushing the boundries, it is what makes them so funny and loveable! Any more pics of the old rogue?

Ha - such a cute dog, and so clever!

Reminded me of my old dog. He was one smart dog. He knew he was not allowed on the sofa. If anyone went upstairs and he was left alone he was straight onto the soft. Nobody ever saw him on it, only his white fur and warm dent on the cushion where he had been laying

No matter how quietly we came down the stairs he always beat us. We could hear the 'klick klick' of his claws on the wooden floor as he jumped off. When we got into the room he would be in his basket, eyes closes, pretending to be asleep.

Animals are a lot more clever that most humans give them credit for. Even my pigeons - but that's another story!
