Hi all. Is store bought bread and cooked noodles alright to feed to my chickens? I have plenty of extra that I don't want to go to waste. Any insight helps bunches! Thanks in advance!

Sure it is. It is only cost effective when it is ether free, or leftovers. Buying it at regular price would be an expensive food option for the volume/ per/ dollar. Many peeps might say that giving white bread is not recommended. Their thinking is that white bread has complex carbohydrates that birds can't digest. Most refer to this when feeding wild birds in the winter. My thinking about feeding bread to chickens is this... If the chickens cant get the full nutritional benefit of the bread... then it just goes thru them. Pasta noodles are a favorite of my hens.. Not sure if they are digesting it to maximum benefit, BUT SOO WHAT.. My chickens live long lives.. There must be something right about what I am doing. Now if I was sending my chickens on a Space mission to Mars, I would only include what the scientists suggest.

There may not be a lot of nutritional value in pasta but it sure is high in entertainment value watching them play spaghetti keep away.
I give my girls bread and pasta too. Not as a main diet but more of a treat and have never seen a problem because of it.
