anyone have a really awesome bread pudding recipe?
I want something thick, different, and very sinfully good . . . with a topping like vanilla/brandy or something like that . . .

I have this really simple and easy to make Bread pudding that I do all the time for DH and his buddies at the cabin. I get compliments all the time. It's made with Little Debbie Spinwheel cakes tho! lol

1 box of Little Debbie Pecan Spinwheels ( there are 8 to a box)
3/4ths cup of milk
2 beaten eggs
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/8th tsp salt
1/3 cup of raisins
1/3 cup or more of Dried Cranberries
1/8th tsp of ginger but I use cloves
1/8th tsp Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350
I spray Pam on my loaf pans
Combine milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, spices in medium bowl. Mix well. Quarter or crumble all 8 Pecan Spinwheels into milk mixture. Add raisins and dried cranberries and let stand for 15 minutes to soak up liquid. Spoon over into small loaf pan, muffin cups or ramekins cups. Drizzle with melted butter. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until bread pudding is puffed up and golden brown. This looks so pretty with the cranberries & raisins. Allow to cool completely before serving. Add a Brandy sauce to your slices or if you make it in Ramekins cups.

Edited for spelling !!

Thanks!!

Everyone I fix this for just likes it plain but you could do a sauce over it. Whatever you like.
