I've been away for a while. I have 64 quail eggs in the oven. texans and browns. How do I raise for jumbos at 12 ounces in 8 weeks?

Feed 28 to 30% protein feed.

More importantly select the largest ones to be your next breeders and eat the puny ones.

Grow them all to full size, keep the biggest ones to breed, and keep doing that. Just make sure they're still healthy at full size, to prevent needless suffering from skeletal issues or the like. If any start showing health problems, even if they're the big ones you want to breed, take those out of your breeding stock.

Seconding the protein recommendation. There is a HUGE difference in my 6-8 wk birds when they get 30% for the first six weeks vs. 25%.
