Breakfast!!

Our wonderful Butterscotch has been as regular as clockwork. 7 am every morning, we have a hot fresh egg. I couldn't wait till the whole carton was filled so this morning we had our FIRST batch of fresh eggs and bacon and blueberry muffins. I am just constantly amazed at the miracle of these chickens making eggs, as simple as that sounds.

I get three on a good day. My DW used only eggs from our girls to do her holiday baking. It only took a few days to get what we needed, and we gave the rest to my brother yesterday for them to enjoy.

Our Cochin started laying last week and we have had four eggs in six days. They are tasty too!
