Hi. So a few weeks ago my baby rooster (about 6months old) became really sick. He looked a bit dazed, had some sort of white mucus in his mouth and difficulty breathing. The vet said there’s nothing stuck in his throat but have him some antibiotics which we have gave him for 6 days. So after a few days he seemed and we let him back out but ever since then he seems to have almost daily episodes of a sticky saliva in his mouth, drooling, wheezing, shaking his head so hard that he knocks himself over, dazed and tired and he’s unable to eat anything. I have a video but can’t seem to upload. Can anyone help please?

Please post some photos of him, the inside of his beak and his poop.

A video of his actions would be good - upload video to youtube and provide a link.

What do you feed?
What was the antibiotic that was prescribed? (name and dose)
Did the vet run a fecal float to see if worms are an issue?

Check to make sure his crop is emptying, reinspect inside his beak for lesions or canker, look him over for lice/mites.

Any molds in the coop/run or feed? How much ventilation in your coop?
