breech eggs

I am new to incubating. I am using a tractor supply incubator with a automatic egg turner. All my eggs where fertile and tried to hatch but 4 out of 15 where breech. They made no progress so I helped them out.3 out of the 4 survived with my intervention. Why are otherwise healthy chicks breech in the narrow side the egg.

What is the brand of incubator you're using? Is the turner one of the kind in which you put the eggs in vertically? If so, are you making sure the air cell end of the eggs are up when you load them in the turner?
