Hey, I was hoping to get help identifying the breed of our chicks. I posted when they were babies and it was thought that they might be cream legbar and Barnevelder. They were marked as olive eggers. They have the red breast and were able to be identified early on as females (thank goodness!).
But 2 of our 3 have feathers on top of their heads that stick up (I call them their toupee
). It's not something I expected. One of them doesn't, though otherwise she looks just like the other ladies she was bought with. She just has a lovely copper head.
Thoughts?
