Her breed will be revealed in time. She's not an Easter Egger though with that single comb, clean face, and yellow legs.

Nooooo! Can you tell me why you think that? What characteristic? I haven't a clue, so you might be right. All the stuff I was reading made it point to a girl for me- "looks like eyeliner around the eyes", "black accenting the V on the head", an upturned butt 'smile' not a 'frown'", "getting tailfeathers already"... Well I get what I get.

This is a very interesting guessing game. Can't wait to see his/her breed and gender.

S/he can also be a cream legbar. If she is, she is a girl.

It looks like it has a heck of a comb for its age. BUT I am not saying it is for sure it just looks a little rooish. Could I get pics of its wings and back>>>

I see, thanks for the explanation. It is quite a comb coming in isn't it?
Here are some pics I took today. Her/his feathers are growing like crazy, s/he was so uncomfortable all day because of it I think- faux dust bathing, preening, laying down/jumping up... I felt so bad, wishing I could do something.

A friend found this girl/guy on the street with no mom around in Vieques, it's a super small island off the main island of Puerto Rico. There are lots free roaming animals here- horses, dogs, cats, chickens, iguanas...
Looking like a Frankenchicken theses days, fuzzy chick parts mixed with feathers of a chicken.

I still say he/she looks like my speckled Sussex. Also my SS had a rather large comb at that age and we are almost convinced she is a she now.
