Breed and gender guess 6 weeks

Help with breed and gender will be gratefully received

Chicks 1 and 5 look like Hatchery-RIR or Production Reds. My guess is they are both pullets.

Chick 4 looks like a pullet and Australorp or Jersey Giant (are the feet yellow or pink?)

Chick 3 looks like a Cream Legbar--I'd also guess pullet, but I have no experience with that breed.

No clue with the white crested bird--unless White Sultan pullet?

Thanks for your reply, I will have to look sultans up..
Could I really be so lucky and really have 5 pullets on my first go???
I am a total novice at raising chick's and all that I do know is all thanks to this site.
Anyone else want to have a guess?

From across the pond.

Does the white chick have 5 toes and a V comb? Houdans do. I think it might be a Polish instead.

Where did you chicks come from? Do you know if they are supposed to be purebred?

Well, I'm not certain on the genders. I'm sure some people will guess that that bottom red one is a cockerel.

My 5 year old daughter had a class project ( living egg )
These are 5 that we chose from the 8 that hatched.
The remaining 3 have gone back to the farm along with the chick's that hatched in the other local schools.
The farmer didn't say as to what gender or breed they could be.
All help if appreciated

Do you have a picture of the Legbar when it hatched? That could help a great deal with the gender guess.

When we brought them home.
Sorry this is the earliest picture I have.

This one is at 13 days old.
I have been told that it is an EE, but I'm a novice

Well, if it's not a pure Legbar then it would probably be called an EE. From the looks of the chick, if it is a legbar, it should be a pullet.

i dont see any ee's at all...all do appear to be pullets. if he kept them in seprate pens for each breed then you do have some pure breeds but more than likely you have some very pretty mixed chickens...can you get a shot of them standing on their own so we can see their profile?
