Two chicks I brought home from by biology class. pretty sure the first guy is a roo, no idea for a breed. Tge second has me perplexed

how old?! and where did they get the eggs?
There seems to be RIR in there, possibly a red sex link... *Possibly. And a silkie. I say possibly on the RSL so much because depending on their age, and where the school got them, it could be from a farmer that did the RSL thing wrong... Not sure.

The silkie we bought. Its the chickens in front of the silkie im questioning. These guys will be 7 weeks over the weekend. The school had ordered fertilized eggs off mypetchicken.com. Any ideas on Genders?
 
Well, the red with black on the wings is a production red... essentially a watered down Rhode Island Red. The other one, with the white... it looks like its supposed to be a red sex link, but the comb is too big for the age. They're both cockerels.
