Would love to know the breed and gender if possible. Just got my new babies and it’s my first time raising chicks. Super excited and can’t wait to watch them grow up.

It's easier to guess when they they are staring to get adult feathering. But I am sure someone will know

Were they sold as straight run? Far too early for gender. first one looks like an australorp, and the next to last one, a silver laced wyandotte. it's best not to name them until you're sure which one you can keep

Yeah they was raised as a straight run.

1 Australorp
2 Lavender Orpington
3 Ancona or Mottled Java
4 Sapphire Gem
5 New Hampshire or Production red
6 Possibly an Easter egger
7 Silver laced Wyandotte
8 Not sure, maybe Mystic Onyx or some other hatchery hybrid

5 weeks of age is a good time to start sexing them. They are too young right now.
