Think pullet. Neck feathers are rounded. Cockerel would be pointed. Wyandotte pullets tend to have redder combs so people panic they have a lot of boys.

Yes! It looks like an SLW pullet to me as well. I try not to freak out about waddles and combs being red or big. I have quite a few hens that have juicy red waddles and combs.. All of my SLW hens have red combs as well. Sure is a beauty!

YAY!!! I'm thrilled. We just lost my husbands favorite chicken. She was a mystery egg from a friends farm hatched out by our broody hen. She looked like a gold laced wyandotte but had green feet and laid green eggs. She was beautiful. :'(

He LOVES wyandottes, so this really is a happy accident!!! Thanks guys!
