It's an Easter Egger rooster. EEs are often sold by hatcheries under the name Araucana or Ameraucana (sometimes mispelled Americana or Americauna) but rue Araucanas are tailless and lay only blue eggs and true Ameraucanas have tails, but also lay only blue eggs. Hatcheries produce EEs by crossing Araucanas or Ameraucanas with other breeds to produce offspring that lay colored eggs (not just blue, but olive, green, beige, and occasionally even pink or gold). EEs also usually lay better than their Araucana or Ameraucana parents.
