I was thinking so... he was labeled a pullet when I bought them... very sweet to me though. But is trying to already be a “rooster” with the girls...You've got a cockerel on your hands! Not only is his comb quite red, but he's much lighter than the pullets, which is a major tip off.

really? He could be a good boy, or a demon. I would adopt a hands off management style with him. Encourage him to stay arm's length away. Cockerels who are turned into pets often become human aggressive.
I know! I don’t know how to take this because right now he really likes me and will go out of his way to “say hi” as weird as that sounds. He stays really close to me when they are out.really?
now I am really sad that 3 of 4 of mine are cockerels! The only pullet in mine doesn't even like me like the 3 boys and my 3 hens!
Exactly! The stubby tail I named Delilah loooooves me and follows me everywhere. I am crushed because a. I don't ever wanna see him get aggressive to humans (Me!) b. I don't wanna give him up but the BF doesn't want any males....going to keep him as long as I can though!I know!
