Breed and gender?

I’m looking to add a couple pullets since we lost a couple. The lady selling this one is telling me it’s a Chantecler. It’s about 8 or 9 weeks old. Do you think its Chantecler, and male or female???

She’s also telling me what looks like a speckled Sussex is actually a Jubilee Orpington.....???? Does this SS look female or male? Thanks!

It's not a purebred white Chantecler. Could be a mix of one, though. According to the second photo, they are being sold as mixes, so they probably are. The chick in the second picture does look like a Jublee Orpington-- it's big and fluffy. But I would be skeptical. And also, all the white on the breast could indicate that it's a cockerel.
