This isn’t much right now but here he is in April he is 15 weeks old his comb is so much redder now and I’m pretty sure it’s bigger too.

And if that is how he looks now, then I do not think he is spangled. The little white feather tips I saw in the earlier pictures, should have been replaced by larger amounts of white in a spangled bird of his current age.

Yes his chest now is very dark
